Georgia was born with a love for horses. After 13 years of nagging her mother Rayne, she finally gave in and took Georgia to her first riding lesson. Shortly after Rayne purchased a golden palomino pony named “Bob” he had just been gelded and recently broken…..not the perfect combination green horse and green rider. Georgia spent more time sitting in the dirt than sitting on Bob.
12 months later t Jackalee Heights Equestrian Centre in Toolernvale,Victoria Georgia met “Buster Doc” a handsome buckskin QH owned by Sarah Bray who introduced Georgia to the sport of dressage. Many hours were spent being lunged on Buster with no stirrups and holding a cup filled with water……the day did come when the cup still had water in it when the lunging was finished. Georgia competed Buster at state level dressage and participated in many clinics with national and International coaches.
In 1995 Rayne purchased 2 young warmbloods from Jim and Emmie Schmul a 3yo chestnut mare by Grannus II and a 3yo brown gelding by Aachen. Georgia spent 3 years with Jim and Emmie and during that time gained experience and knowledge in the preparation of young dressage horses and presentation of sale and competition horses.
After finishing school Georgia spent a year at Belcam Stud in 1998 where she met Adam Riess a German berieter who trained under Thomas Schmidt. Georgia trained with Adam for 7 years and he has been the greatest influence in her riding. Georgia was a successful young rider and a state squad member with Belcam Aashmore.
Georgia also has a passion for breeding dressage horses which she turned in to a reality in 2001 when she bred her first crop. Georgia has bred AWHA winners & champions ( Clintina, Ali , Ruiz Solera, Coprano ), successful YH competitors (lintina, Csavannah, Sir Stirling, Romeo, Fuerst Fendi to name a few)and Australian top scoring horses with ACE group (Bardot, Don Frangelico).
Georgia served as AWHA president 2005/2006.
In late 2006 Georgia moved from Victoria to Queensland and in mid 2007 meet her partner James Miller. James and Georgia have recently set up there own stable and are looking forward to a future of producing happy, successful dressage horses.
Georgia first met Christine in 1995 at a riding clinic with Buster and they again caroused paths in 2007 at Goron Toron. “I enjoy working with Christine her keen eye for detail in both the training and wellness of the horses.”
